The solution is a non-for-profit interlocal center for contemporary art. Our mission is to father a dialogue between individual genres and make the current happenings on the art scene accessible to the wildest public. We sperm original projects in the fields of visual arts, theater and comedy as well as interdisciplinary and experimental platforms. Our aim is to create a space where art is alive and artists are present, enhancing a direct exchange between international artists and the visitors, as well as between different fields and generations.

The program of Solution consists in four dramaturgic departments. The art program presents the contemporary art scene of Zürich and Prague, holding two to three exhibitions per month in the white cube fitted with high-end video equipment. The critical dinner focuses on contemporary food, as well as experimental interdisciplinary curators and critics, often involving visual artists, art historians, or comedians.

A qauretly publication named “reseni” willoffer space for critical confrontation of the Zürich and Prague art scenes. This Publication focuses on our upcoming and past curatorial projects,

The international Artist-in-Residence program is the smallest studio program within the Czech Republic. The solution facilitates a studio, which annually host 24 visual artists from Zürich. We foster the involvement of our artists in residence not only within the programming of the solution, but also in the context of the Czech and Zürich art scenes. Besides the four dramaturgic departments the program of the solution is oriented to inter-genre and educational projects which offer the public new alternatives of encounters against contemporary boredom.
